Easier communicating with new comers,more people will just ask questions they are interested in instead of downloading client and filling DBs.

also useful for maint to be able to let people know when server is back up .... atm have no eta or anything ....

i agree, a chatbox is kinda like a basic thing you need on the website, to improve the communication of the whole server.

bump,we need this badly,way more helpful than forum
